Bag filters are the standard general-purpose filtration for a chilled or process water loop, removing particulate before it reaches pumps and heat exchangers downstream. The disposable filter bag is replaced on a service schedule rather than cleaned, which keeps the housing itself simple and the ongoing maintenance quick.
The Advantage BF series runs from the compact BF-25 up through the high-capacity BF-600, with BF-50, BF-120, BF-300 and BF-405 filling out the range in between. Model selection tracks the flow rate and particulate load of the loop the filter is protecting, not just pipe size.
Replacement bags are available on request for any model. Tell us your loop's flow rate and what's generating particulate in the fluid (scale, machining fines, biological growth, etc.) and we'll recommend a model.

Sizing A Bag Filter
Model selection tracks the loop's actual flow rate against each housing's rated capacity - an undersized housing raises pressure drop across the loop, while an oversized one adds cost with no real benefit. Particulate load matters too: a heavily loaded loop on a compact housing means frequent bag changes even if the flow rate technically fits.
An Advantage bag filter is the right starting point for most loops. If bag changes become frequent enough to be a real maintenance burden, or disposal is a hassle the plant would rather design out, compare this page against Permanent Media Filters before committing to a model.
