For a new selection, we need the duty: the heat load in tons or BTU/hr, the process fluid and glycol percentage, the required supply temperature, the flow rate in GPM, and the voltage at the panel. For an outdoor unit, add the site's summer and winter ambient range. The flow rate is the figure most often left off an enquiry and the one that most often changes which Advantage chiller we recommend.

Replacing a unit already on the floor? The model number on the Advantage nameplate - MG-30A, TI-100A, OACS-10D-MZC-2P - tells us the series, the nominal capacity and the condenser arrangement, which is everything needed to confirm a current-production match. If the nameplate has become illegible, a photograph of the unit plus the compressor and pump data plates will do.
