BG-20A glycol chiller

Description

The BG-20A is an indoor, self-contained glycol chiller — scroll compressor, glycol-rated evaporator and reservoir, and a factory-matched process pump on one frame, sized for a mechanical-room installation. Compressor is rated at 20 HP. Standard glycol duty holds 117,274 BTU/hr of cooling capacity at a 25°F leaving fluid temperature, and every BG-series model is adjustable from 20°F up to 70°F as the process requires. The process pump moves 48 GPM, backed by a 65-gallon reservoir. Without glycol in the loop, treat 48°F as the practical minimum leaving fluid temperature for the BG-20A — run it colder than that and you need glycol in the system, which is the entire reason this line exists rather than a plain-water MG or Titan unit.
