BGD-3A

The BGD-3A is an indoor, self-contained glycol chiller — digital scroll compressor, glycol-rated evaporator and reservoir, and a factory-matched process pump on one frame, sized for a mechanical-room installation. Compressor is rated at 3 HP. Standard glycol duty holds 19,560 BTU/hr of cooling capacity at a 25°F leaving fluid temperature, and every BGD-series model is adjustable from 20°F up to 70°F as the process requires. The process pump moves 7.2 GPM, backed by a 7-gallon reservoir. Without glycol in the loop, treat 48°F as the practical minimum leaving fluid temperature for the BGD-3A — run it colder than that and you need glycol in the system, which is the entire reason this line exists rather than a plain-water MG or Titan unit.
