The OACS-40D-MZC-2P-BC adapts Advantage's OACS outdoor central chiller platform for glycol duty, not a straight relabel of the standalone water OACS chiller in the same tonnage class — the OACS-40D-MZC-2P-BC ships configured to hold a 25-30°F leaving fluid temperature on a water-and-glycol mixture, and every wetted surface, the reservoir, pump seals and controls setpoints are matched to that duty rather than plain chilled water. It uses a scroll compressor on HFC-410A refrigerant. Compressor is rated at 20 HP. Standard glycol duty holds 234,548 BTU/hr of cooling capacity at a 25°F leaving fluid temperature, and every OACS-series model is adjustable from 20°F up to 70°F as the process requires. The process pump moves 96 GPM, backed by a 200-gallon reservoir. Without glycol in the loop, treat 48°F as the practical minimum leaving fluid temperature for the OACS-40D-MZC-2P-BC — run it colder than that and you need glycol in the system, which is the entire reason this line exists rather than a plain-water MG or Titan unit.
