BG-2A-N4

The BG-2A-N4 is Advantage's outdoor, NEMA 4 weatherproof version of the equivalent indoor BG/BGD frame — same scroll compressor and R-513A refrigerant platform, housed in a cabinet built to sit on an outdoor pad year-round instead of inside a mechanical room. Compressor is rated at 2 HP. Standard glycol duty holds 12,000 BTU/hr of cooling capacity at a 25°F leaving fluid temperature, and every BG-series model is adjustable from 20°F up to 70°F as the process requires. The process pump moves 7.2 GPM, backed by a 7-gallon reservoir. Without glycol in the loop, treat 48°F as the practical minimum leaving fluid temperature for the BG-2A-N4 — run it colder than that and you need glycol in the system, which is the entire reason this line exists rather than a plain-water MG or Titan unit.
