MG-15AB

The MG-15AB is a 14.5-ton, 1×15 HP tandem scroll air-cooled package built for a steady process load rather than comfort-cooling duty. The process pump moves 36 GPM at 55 PSI through a centrifugal head in stainless steel. Process connections are 2" NPT. The 65-gallon reservoir carries a standard automatic make-up valve. Condenser air is pushed by a ducted blower rather than open propeller fans, so this frame is the one to specify when the unit has to sit in a mechanical room and exhaust through ductwork instead of dumping hot air back into the space. Two compressor circuits share the load, so the unit keeps running at reduced capacity if one circuit needs service instead of leaving the process with no cooling at all. Charged with R-454B.
