MGD-10A

The MGD-10A is a 9.8-ton, 1×10 HP digital scroll air-cooled package built for a steady process load rather than comfort-cooling duty. The process pump moves 24 GPM at 48 PSI through a centrifugal head in stainless steel. Process connections are 1-1/4" NPT. The 25-gallon reservoir carries a standard automatic make-up valve. Condenser air is moved by 2 direct-drive propeller fans rated for a 95°F ambient, which is the figure to check before assuming this frame will hold capacity in a hot mechanical room or an un-shaded yard. The digital scroll modulates capacity continuously rather than cycling on and off, which is the right choice for a load that varies through the shift and would otherwise short-cycle a fixed-capacity compressor.
